About The Tours
Your tour begins with a pre-trip meeting and equipment check. From there, all the details and planning are taken care of while you sit back and relax. Beautiful terrain lies ahead for your hiking, biking, multi-sport and scenic driving pleasure. Part of our tour creates a sense of unknown since we are taking you somewhere new and exciting. Your safety and enjoyment is our utmost concern. Everything has been thoroughly planned so we don't compromise your fun or safety.
Most tours include exercise, scenic surprise and a little unknown that creates a sense of adventure. AdirondackXtreme Tours always suggests that you bring a healthy picnic lunch with deli sandwiches, fruit, dessert and a refreshing beverage to be enjoyed in a relaxing picnic setting. Energy bars and water are also good ideas. "Set your soul and spirit free while letting loose and living a little - you've earned it!" We'll provide everything else.
At AdirondackXtreme Tours, we specialize in escaping in the great outdoors before returning to our hum drum lives and jobs! Come let us show you a great time in our own backyard in the Adirondack Mountains.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Do I need prior biking or hiking experience? Most of our guests have some experience, but it's not required. Our tours typically are geared towards people who are of average physical condition with added opportunity for a good workout for those who seek fitness.
2. Can we bring our children? We allow children on our tours if their maturity, ability and skills allow them to keep up. We do recommend, if you are a family with 1 or more children, to call and put together a private family tour so we can cater to your specific needs. Most adventures we recommend the children be at least 8 years of age.
3.What do I bring with me when I'm on a hiking or biking tour? You'll need, proper clothing, food, gear, you own bicycle, canoe or kayak and camera! The guide will carry his own personal belongings and 1st Aid supplies for the group.
4. When I bring my own bike, canoe and/or kayak? What type is acceptable? Yes! Bring your own bike, please ride it before the trip to make sure the shifting and brakes work, the tires hold air and the bike is in good working order. Please check the section at the bottom of each bike tour for specific bike information. We carry extra tubes and pumps for quick repairs. Mountain Bikes should be standard equipment, along with helmets and safety gear. No Canoes and kayaks. If you want to play in or on the water you need to look elsewhere, because our insurance and licensing does not cover water sports.
5. If I rent a bike from AdirondackXtreme Adventures, how do I know that it will be the correct size? We will ask you your height, so we can provide the correct bike size for you.
6. Do I need to wear a helmet while biking? We require all bikers to ride with a helmet at all times. Please bring one. If not, we'll provide one for you for free to use along with gloves and a water bottle.
7. Can I give AdirondackXtreme Adventures as a gift? Yes! Give the gift of endless adventure! Give Xtreme Gift Certificates to friends and family. Available in values of $25, $50, or $100.
